The Seattle-Tacoma Box Legacy Foundation Youth Program Fund supports youth in the same key regions served by Seattle-Tacoma Box Company and its affiliates. Grants help students attend enrichment activities hosted by 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations, such as sports camps, music camps, and church mission trips.

Youth in our service regions

Students residing in the Greater Puget Sound Region (Washington), Anchorage Metropolitan Region (Alaska), Central Valley Region (California), Phoenix Metropolitan Region (Arizona), and Willamette Valley Region (Oregon).

What This Supports

Enrichment experiences that build character and confidence

Support focuses on attendance at eligible programs offered by 501(c)(3) organizations — including sports and music camps, church mission trips, and other enrichment experiences that encourage leadership and personal growth.

Youth Program Fund Application

The Seattle-Tacoma Box Legacy Foundation Youth Program Fund is awarded biannually to support student attendance at enrichment programs operated by 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations such as sports camps, music camps, and church mission trips. The goal of these grants is to nurture the potential of future generations in the communities served by the Seattle-Tacoma Box Company.

Application Periods:

January 1 – March 1 (Announcements in April)
July 1 – September 1 (Announcements in October)

Eligibility Requirements:

Children under 18 participating in a youth program sponsored by an accredited 501(c)(3) organization.
Applicants must reside in the communities surrounding Seattle-Tacoma Box Company and its family of companies, including the Greater Puget Sound Region (Washington), Anchorage Metropolitan Region (Alaska), Central Valley Region (California), Phoenix Metropolitan Region (Arizona), and Willamette Valley Region (Oregon).

Amount and Duration of Scholarships

Award Amount: Up to $500 or the cost of the activity (whichever is less) per applicant within a 12-month period.
Payment: Paid directly to the 501(c)(3) organization on behalf of the child when payment is due.
